Catholic Women’s Circle

Membership is open to all women in the parish. The Circle sponsors several fund raising events to provide monetary gifts, food, scholarships, and many other special needs to the community. Members provide meals to families of deceased parishioners, following funeral services, as requested. The Circle maintains a prayer chain to give spiritual support to individuals and families that are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

Coffee and Doughnuts

Coffee and refreshments are served on the first Sunday of the month after the

8:30 A.M.. Mass at Immaculate Conception, and coffee and doughnuts, as scheduled, at St. John’s. This event provides an opportunity for parishioners to get acquainted with one another. Volunteers set up the church hall and make coffee before Mass. After Mass the coffee and doughnuts are served followed by clean up. This ministry welcomes anyone who wishes to become involved.

Respect Life Committee

Responding to the call of our Holy Father to build a “Culture of Life”, this committee seeks to provide Pro-Life information, activities and programs to our parish and local community. We work to implement the Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities: A Campaign in Support of Life established by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops through Prayer, Information and Education and Pastoral Care. We also work to support legislative action that will ensure the protection of all human life from conception to natural death.

Seniors Ministry

This ministry is an outreach to the homebound elderly, such as, home visits, hospital visits, and nursing home visits. It also develops and initiates various activities and programs for the elderly.


Liturgy Commission
Altar Servers

Boys and girls in grade 4 and above and have received the Sacrament of First Eucharist, are eligible. Training sessions are held in the fall. Altar servers serve at weekend liturgies. They should arrive at least 15 minutes before Mass.

Eucharistic Ministry

Parishioners, who are registered, baptized, confirmed and who demonstrate sufficient spiritual maturity to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ, are welcome to join this ministry at the discretion of the Pastor. In doing so, they will assist the celebrant with the distribution of the Eucharist during Mass and other liturgical functions. Training is required.

Eucharistic Ministry for the Homebound

The purpose of this ministry is to reach out to members of our parish who are homebound in nursing homes and hospitals and are unable to attend Mass. In
