Finance Council

This consultative body is composed of parishioners who have demonstrated an experience in finance. Membership on this Council is by appointment by the Pastor.

Ground Beautification

This ministry works to continue to enhance the beauty of our church and rectory grounds. Volunteers are needed to plant flowers, trim trees and bushes, spread pine straw, prepare beds for planting, maintain the flowers, or whatever interests you. Anyone who enjoys gardening or working outdoors is welcome. Let us know your interest and we will find a way for you to help that fits your schedule.

Library

A library of religious books, pamphlets, tapes and videos is available to all parishioners. The library is located in the church rectory.

Maintenance

This group is responsible for overall maintenance of the church and rectory. Volunteers are needed who have experience in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, handiwork, outdoor work, heavy lifting, etc.

Office Help

These volunteers provide general office help, such as answering phones, issuing Mass cards, typing, computer work, printing the bulletin, and miscellaneous clerical work.

Community Life Commission
Disabilities Ministry

This ministry works to make sure that all activities and programs of our Catholic community are both accessible and available to persons with disabilities so that they may participate as fully as they desire. Disabilities include mobility impairments, intellectual impairments, hearing impairments, vision impairments, and mental illness.

Food Pantry Ministry

This stewardship maintains an ongoing food pantry consisting of a stock of nonperishable foods donated by the parish community. These are made available to persons of need. Additional financial support, from the weekly stewardship, is provided to local organizations like K.A.R.E., Haywood Christian Ministries, the Open Door Soup Kitchen, as well as a parish-held fund, which provides short-term financial help to those in need.
