From The Pastor,
Fr. Patrick Murphy will be here next weekend to speak at all Masses on behalf of Food For the Poor. Their ministry provides direct relief to the poor throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Father Murphy will share what he has witnessed about Food for the Poor’s mission to care for the destitute as a means of living out the Gospel mandate to love one another. Fr. Murphy was ordained for the Society of Jesus, the Jesuits, in 1967. Before joining Food for the Poor he was a teacher and Chaplain at Creighton University, he worked as a Chaplain in the prison system in Wisconsin, and he spent 18 years in ministry in Jamaica, Belize, Bahamas, Thailand and Antigua. Please join me in welcoming Father Murphy and thanks for your generous support of his ministry to the poor. May God bless you and yours!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,
~ Fr. Lawrence M. LoMonaco ~
