IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH CHARITY COMMITTEE will have a �Pajama Drive� on August 3 to collect new P.J.�s for infants through teenagers (adult sizes). They are for children that have been placed into foster care by the DSS.
THE PARISH PICNIC will take place Sunday, Aug. 24 from 1:00PM�5:00PM at the Lake Junaluska pavilion. Everyone is invited. Food and drinks will be provided!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY provides support to parish ministries and other local agencies serving children and families at Christmas. Donations are collected in July and distributed in Dec. Your support makes Christmas happier for those in need. Please make checks payable to The Catholic Women�s Circle and drop them in the offertory basket. FINES CREEK UNITED METHODIST CHURCH is having a fundraiser on July 19 at 5pm to help pay for the replacement of the ceiling in their church. Food, music, silent auction and a cake walk are planned.

CHURCH HUMOR: Little Johnny and his family were having Sunday dinner at his grandmother�s house. Everyone was seated around the table and the food was being served. When Johnny received his plate, he started to eat right away. His mother exclaimed, Johnny, please wait until we say the prayer! I don�t need to, Johnny replied. Of course you do, his mother insisted. We always say a prayer before we eat at our house, she added. That�s at our house, Johnny explained. This is grandma�s house and she knows how to cook!
