From the Pastor,

Fr. Brian Cook , the pastor of St. Leo the Great in Winston-Salem, will be here for all Masses next weekend. I will be helping to celebrate the Masses at St. Leo�s. Fr. Brian loves Waynesville and I love St. Leo�s because it was my first assignment as a priest, so we decided to switch parishes for the weekend. I have given the approval to begin finishing construction on the activity center below the new church. We have received estimates totaling $20,500 to complete the metal framing, plumbing, electrical wiring, heating & air conditioning duct work, and the alarm system wiring. We received a $20,000 restricted donation in January that will be used to cover those costs. When those items are completed, we plan to use volunteer labor to finish the insulation, dry wall, and painting. Tickets are on sale for the 1st Annual St. John�s Golf Tournament!
